I'm pretty sure that in any relationship, we clearly do not just walk together. And we certainly do not just build something together. More than that, we will also need to furiously fight for our love. Yeah true, it is not that easy and simple though. We've got enemies to face and fight against. The most common things that most couples have got to deal with might be:
The Ego
We can't see it. We can barely notice it. The Ego has this deadly ability to separate a couple walking towards different directions. By the time we've been aware of it, we've gone too far from each other already. Well, remember, this is a warfare. We need to stick together to keep being strong.
The Anger
When something goes unexpected within a relationship, The Anger comes and controls everything. It corrupts the affection that has grown so far, turns it into hatred kind of feeling. The Anger causes a couple that used to protect each other to be hurting each other.
The Confusion
The Confusion has the duty to interrupt good communication between the man and the woman. It is no longer about who is right or who is wrong in a quarrel. When The Confusion gets involved, a couple would just never find a way out because they keep misunderstanding each other.
The Boredom
As the time goes, The Boredom will haunt every relationship. No matter how good we juggle to keep our relationship exciting, there will always be moments when we feel bored with our relationship. It is indeed inevitable, yet it is still possible to overcome.
The Fear
Sometimes we might be shaken by the past and worrying about the future. Well, it is all nothing but the work of The Fear. The Fear discourages our fighting spirit to keep struggling for the relationship. By then, we have got no choice other than being firm and optimistic.
I know that there are still a lot more of enemies out there that every couple would fight against. However, the good news is, God is too tender and loving that He equips us with some weapons before we get into the warfare.
Love, Faith, Hope, Courage, Trust, Patience, and Humbleness
These weapons can be powerful and effective enough to win our relationship over the battle JUST IF we know how to use them well. Cheers!
